Sylvia Anderson says she’s done more detective work than Detroit Police. And she’s very worried about her missing adult son.Last night she says she called his cellphone number and a strange man named Steve answered. She says he told her he bought the phone in Ypsilanti 9 days ago then ghosted her.The family reached out to Ingram Davis who is 34 and hasn’t been seen by his family and friends since June 11. He was last seen driving a car for Lyft.Within those 9 days, they got two strange texts back with Bible verses listed. One especially raised concerns because Anderson says it refers to David being taken from his home.Lyft is telling the family they can’t help without a subpoena. Lyft has tracking devices on cars and drivers in service.Detroit Police Captain Lashana Potts tells 7 Action News they are gathering information now to take to the prosecutor’s office for that subpoena and could have it as early as tomorrow. She also says Detroit Police are following up all leads including the digital footprint of the cellphone and number.Capt. Potts also says anyone with information about Ingram Davis should call Crimestoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
