Former Brooklyn Assemblywoman Tapped To Become Chair of N.Y. Cannabis Control Board

New York's state Senate is expected to confirm Tremaine Wright (D), former Brooklyn assemblywoman, to lead the agencies that will regulate cannabis in New York.

Wright is set to be confirmed as chair of the Control Board and the Office of Cannabis Management, reported NY Daily News. She is currently the Director of the Office of Financial Inclusion and Empowerment in the NYS Department of Financial Services.
