EXCLUSIVE: How Much Competition Will Cannabis Companies Face From Big Tobacco And Alcohol?

The competition ahead in the cannabis market from tobacco, alcohol and pharmaceutical companies was a topic of discussion this week at the Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference in Miami Beach. 

Competition: One area of concern for the cannabis market could be the continued entry of big companies entering the market as more states legalize.

“If you’re big tobacco, you want to blow up the model,” Greenlane (NASDAQ: GNLN) CEO Nick Kovacevich told the crowd at the Benzinga conference.
