Patients with advanced cancer respond favorably to medicinal cannabis, according to a study published in the journal Cureus on a trial that included participants enrolled in the NY state's registry.

Researchers affiliated with Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse evaluated the use of by cancer patients for palliative purposes.
