Is Recreational Marijuana Coming To Oklahoma’s Ballot In November? Supreme Court Challenges Ballot Campaign

Should recreational become legal in Oklahoma? Activists in the state have gathered enough signatures to present that question to Oklahoma voters this November. However, Oklahoma’s Supreme Court is performing a final revision on whether the question should be on the ballot, and the jury —or rather, the court— is still out.

The Oklahoma Supreme Court issued an order assuming jurisdiction to decide if State Question 820 —as the ballot has been baptized by the campaign— will appear on the November ballot.

“We are thrilled the Court has officially recognized State Question 820 has more than enough valid signatures to be considered for the November ballot,” said Campaign Director Michelle Tilley in a press release.
