Nevada to Open Applications for Cannabis Consumption Lounges in October

consumption lounges are one step closer to becoming a reality in Nevada.

The Nevada Control Board (CCB) announced Sept. 14 that it will accept applications for consumption lounges beginning at 8 a.m. Oct. 14 and ending at 5 p.m. Oct. 27. Applications must be submitted in the Accela Cannabis Customer Portal.

CCB officials approved regulations governing consumption lounges in June, roughly one year after Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak signed legislation to legalize consumption lounges.
