To the editor: Amendment means well but wrong
I am opposed to the proposed Amendment on redistricting. Although well intentioned, it is ill-conceived with respect to its district design criteria. Many people blamed the fiasco of redistricting in 2022 on the commission members, but that conflict was, at least in part, rooted in the Supreme Court’s extra-Constitutional interpretation of district requirements.
