Recently, Vice President JD Vance was quoted on X as saying that “Judges aren’t allowed to control the executive’s legitimate power.” Given the President’s current efforts to turn upside down the executive branch and dismantle certain independent agencies, such as the Agency for International Development and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, this brings up two interesting questions.
